I can't do you love and rhetoric without the blood

Lately I've been enjoying Queen In-Hyun's Man (2012), a drama about a time-travelling noble scholar, part of the deposed Queen In-Hyun's faction, who meets and falls in love with an up-and-coming actress who's just been cast as Queen In-Hyun in a brand new drama. It's absolutely delightful, with some very sharp use of time travel to our hero's political advantage, and one of the most endearing romances I've seen in a while (they just like each other so much!). I'm up to about episode 10 ( spoilers? )

I haven't really participated in fandom much since we all left LJ, only lurked and occasionally wrote fic, so I'm going to try and build up slowly. chenqing_100 looks like a good place to start stretching my muscles again - it feels like everything I've tried to write in the last few years has ballooned into epics that I then never finish, so a hard limit of 100 words should do me good.
