chenqing_100Since here in the US, the night will be disrupted with fireworks (I'm an animal lover, and while I like the sparkle of professional fireworks in the sky, I loathe the noisy ones that yearly traumatize millions of animals across the country), I decided to find something good in the situation. So, this week's prompt is: signal flare.

As expected of its association with the sun, this day represents the peak of Yang energy, and is traditionally associated with light, warmth, and vitality. In the world of MDZS/CQL, with its focus on cultivation, Yang energy of course has additional importance. Feel free to use any aspect of Xiazhi or Yang energy as the inspiration for your drabble.
